.....Golf Tournament in NAS North Island......
The Sea 'N Air Golf course in the Naval Air Station, North Island was the venue for the San Antonio 2nd Invitational

OLDIES BUT GOODIES
It was a lots of fun to listen and dance to the music of the 50s,
60s, 70s, and the 80s. Sinatra crooned or the Beattles rock. Suggested
attire for the occasion was fashion from those bygone years when Engelbert humperdinck popularized "Release Me" and "Quando,
Quando,Quando." You may prefer the Disco fashion craze of the 70s or the 80s.
Our progamme started by an invocation lead by Dr. Medy Erese Pascasio and opening
remarks by Mrs. Alice Peregrino, followed by a delicious dinner. We started our night listenning
to the sweet voice of our very own Maria Paz Alvero, singing our oldies songs that touched our hearts, feelings to be
homesick again. During the first intermission, an induction of incoming officers of SASDCI (2006-2008) was initiated by Mr.
Ferdy Canonizado, the president of LASA. Thank you Ferdy!!!!! Also to all kababayans from out of town: LASA, NORCAL,
VIRGINIA, LAS VEGAS, MICHIGAN, PHILIPPINES and more who attended this occasion. Thank you very much!!!!!!
Everyone enjoyed dancing with the music provided by our DJ, Mr. Celso Macaspac,
who also lead some line dancing. We're so proud to announced the SASDCI Dance Group special presentation the "Grease
Lightning", choreographed by Mr. Mar Duque. What a performance !!!! Thank you so much Mar!!!!! And don't forget the "Pasalog"
raffle by "Coringring" . A big applause goes to Mrs. Cora Lego. The remarks from the outgoing and incoming
Presidents, Ernie Padua Jr. and Allan Manangan, serves as an encouragement to another step of success for the association.
Add to the closing remarks by our vice president Ben Maggay. Amen to that!!! Thanks also to our two talented Emcees, Mr. Jesse
Lego and Mrs. Rowena Casiano for being there till the end of the night. Mabuhay San Antonians of
San Diego !!!!!!
